NAUGHTY WALL
When I left for school this morning,
Everything was looking great
I'd cleaned my teeth, I'd packed my bag
I wasn't even late
Played cricket with Jimmy and Matthew,
And I batted pretty well
In fact nothing at all had really gone
By the time of the morning bell
By little lunch no problem,
A muesli bar and orange juice
My ongoing feud with Kenny Ross
Had even ended in a truce
It all looked like clear sailing,
I was getting through my work
Till just before lunch when Billy Dent
Hurled that piece of chalk
CHORUS
Oh the shame, the shame of it all
I've spent the afternoon against the Naughty Wall
Oh the shame, the shame of it all
I've spent the afternoon against the Naughty Wall
It all happened very quickly,
As I bent over to read
This dirty big white missile
Hit my head at massive speed
I looked around the room at once,
To see what it all meant
And then I saw that grinning dork
That rotten Billy Dent
REPEAT CHORUS
Well I saw red, and I grabbed my pen
And flung it 'cross the room
But in my haste and anger
I struck poor Mrs Bloom
She asked the class through tears of pain
From where that pen had lobbed
And you'd be right, if you guessed
That slimy Billy dobbed
So now I'm heading homewards,
And my feet they only drag
And I've got this note for mom and dad,
Lying in my bag
I'm feeling low, I'm miserable,
There's guilt all on my face
After such a good start this morning
I return home in disgrace
REPEAT CHORUS
