MIXPOSURE MATES

MIXPOSURE is an OMD site where you can gain exposure for your original music or if you're not a muso yourself, can listen to some incredibly talented artists in pretty well any genre you can think of.
Mixpo recently passed the milestone of 20,000 members. So there's plenty to choose from when you come inside.
The people below are just a small selection of artists on Mixposure. The one's I've chosen are not just incredibly talented musos, but, without exception, are great guys and gals as well. Click on the various links and have a listen to their music. You won't be disappointed.
KYLE

Hey Kyle, can you email a better photo than this one. One with a bit of colour.
Kyle is the demoniacal and tyrranical founder, leader and despot at mixposure. He runs a great site and is a heck of a lot of fun. It's only just occurred to me that I haven't heard any of Kyle's music yet. So while you're sending me photos, Kyle, send me a link to your music. I can't find you on your own site.
Oh, wait a minute. Send the link for the music, but I've found a better photo:

Don't know whether the hair or the shorts are more impressive.
LADY L33TA

While Kyle's off playing with codes and doing whatever he does to make the site work, mixpo members are kept under control by Tamera, aka Lady L33ta. Tam is the moderator for both the Pop Art Gallery, the Pop Genre Spotlight on mixpo, and also keeps us in line in the various forums.
In her spare time (lol) Tam also is a muso herself, specialising in techno and experimental music. Tam recently flew up the mixpo charts with her most recent track, 'C*unt' which I assumed was dedicated to my favourite Sesame Street character. Funny pronunciation of his name, though.
PHILOS60

Philos specialises in Total Vocalistic Improvisation. His current Target Review Track 'Italian Blood' is totally improvised, even using an artificial language, and working on 'feeling'. Wonderfully passionate music.
In addition to his talents as a musician, Philos is also a very talented artist, a talent which he shares with fellow artists by from time to time creating banners for them.
I am really proud to be the owner of a Philos banner which has picked up the look of this site incredibly.

Many thanks, Philos.
PINEDOG

One of the nicest blokes you could ever meet, and I say that with confidence even though I've never met him. One of the first members of mixposure that I had contact with and despite the distance we have established a really close friendship which has continued.
Charlie Williams goes under the name Pinedog on mixposure, but his first CD came out under the artist name Pinecats, just to confuse things. The Pinecats' CD 'Dirt Roads and Times Past' was one of the first CDs I bought by a mixposure artist. It's a superb blend of country, folk and Americana with great lyrics and wonderful sense of melody
Of recent times Charlie has been taking the challenge into different areas, particularly with two great instrumental tracks Three Ships and White Buffalo (my favourite and a regular track played during breaks in my gigs at the Mortdale Hotel)
But be it country, folk, blues, soundtrack, american, rock or pop Charlie can turn his hand to it. He's even just bought himself a new bass and mandolin.

Pinedog moderates the Bluegrass Genre Spotlight on mixpo and was the catalyst for my writing and recording 'The Oldest Roadies on the Earth'. I moderate the Children's Songs genre (I hope Kyle's lost interest in this page because it might jog his memory that I've been slack in my duties) and Charlie and I dared each other to write a song in the other's genre. He keeps talking about his long time classic song 'Molly the Goat' but I'm yet to see evidence of it.
Maybe he can make a kids' song out of this photo he recently sent me of his 1 week old ducklings
