MIDI FILES

There appears to be great consternation on the internet about MIDI files and infringements to copyright.

This is not the place to enter into a debate about the rights and wrongs of making available free of charge MIDI files prepared from the original work of others.  Maybe one day I'll add a page to the OPINION page of this site on the subject.

On this page you will however find MIDI files of SELF TORT's original material. This is something of a work in progress. At the moment the available files are

Please note that tracks marked (*) have a long lead-in time before any sound emerges.

Other files will be added as and when they are completed.

Feel free to either just listen to the MIDI files or download them and play around with them. If you like the songs and can use them in a live context, please do so. If you can improve on them, for christ's sake let me know.

Unfortunately, given the present climate, I do not propose to include MIDI files of other artists on this site.
